Abigail Mesel
Voice, Piano, Guitar, and Ukulele Teacher

Abigail Mesel recently graduated with a dual degree, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine in 2023.
Abigail has extensive performing experience, including the 2022 Barcelona Festival of Song where she studied Iberian and Latin American Art song with Dr. Patricia Caicedo.
She performed as Madame Goldentrill in UCI’s 2022 production of The Impresario by W.A. Mozart, and she sang the soprano solo role of Anne Frank in James Whitebourn’s Annelies. She also has performed in several musical theater productions including Fiddler on the Roof and Beauty and the Beast.
Abigail also enjoys choral music and has performed with the Hour of Power Choir, conducted by Dr. Irene Messoloras, at Shepherd’s Grove Church and at the February 2023 ACDA Conference in Cincinnati. She is the co-President of the UCI Choirs and has also served as Treasurer and Section Leader.
In addition to her vocal studies, Abigail plays and teaches voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele. She enjoys a wide variety of genres, including classical, popular music, and musical theater. Abigail has been teaching for several years, and enjoys helping students of all ages learn music and reach their full potential.
She will be pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance at UCI in the fall of 2023.
