Alexis Chavez

Alexis Chavez began his musical journey at the age of 14, studying piano under Julie Carmona Young in Orange, CA, where he developed a strong passion for classical music. He completed and earned honors for Level 7 of the Certificate of Merit program through the Music Teachers’ Association of California in 2020.

It was during his piano studies at Fullerton College, where he was studying under Dr. Monica Lee, that he developed his love for piano teaching and began studying pedagogy. He earned an Associate of Arts degree in music from Fullerton College in 2024 and is currently working towards earning his Bachelor’s degree in piano pedagogy from California State University, Fullerton under Alison Edwards. He also holds a piano teaching certificate.

Alexis is excited to join KW Music Studios and eager to work with students to develop their skills and love for piano. In his free time, he loves to compose music, watch movies, spend time with his family and friends and of course, practice playing the piano!
