Daisy Li

Pianist Jingying (Daisy) Li holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from New York University (NYU), where she also served as Adjunct Faculty in Piano at NYU Steinhardt. She completed her Bachelor of Music at the Longy School of Music of Bard College and an Advanced Certificate in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at NYU.

Ms. Li has performed internationally as a soloist and collaborative pianist across Europe, Asia, and the United States. She appeared as a concerto soloist in the Algarve Music Series in Faro, Portugal, and is active in chamber music, vocal collaboration, and competition performance settings.

She is a prizewinner of several international competitions, including Second Prize in the World’s Best Musicians Competition, High Distinction in the Global Piano Artistes Audition Competition, and awards from the United States Open Music Competition and the Grotrian-Steinweg International Robert Schumann Competition.

In addition to her performance career, Ms. Li is an experienced educator and teaching artist. As Adjunct Faculty at NYU, she taught university-level piano, designed curricula, and prepared students for juries, recitals, and auditions. She has extensive experience working with students from pre-college to advanced levels, specializing in competition preparation, conservatory auditions, and advanced repertoire training. Her students have been guided toward successful performances in recitals, competitions, and audition settings, with a focus on both technical excellence and artistic development.

Ms. Li currently serves as a piano instructor and collaborative pianist in Southern California, where she provides individualized instruction in piano performance, music theory, and artistic development. She is passionate about helping students build strong technical foundations while developing musical expression, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
