Logan Nangin

Pianist, Logan Nangin has a passion for playing and teaching piano. He has extensive performing experience throughout Southern California, including Renee and Sagerstrom Hall under the conductor Carl St. Claire. He enjoys performing and teaching a comprehensive range of musical styles including classical, spiritual, and popular music. 

 

Logan has several years of teaching experience and works with a wide range of students, from young children to adults. He enjoys reading literature and philosophy and uses this to help students see the story-telling in music. His favorite aspect of teaching is seeing each student grow not only in their musical abilities but also in cognitive abilities, problem solving skills, and perseverance. Logan believes in keeping a student engaged and the lessons encouraging and positive as the student learns and grows in their musical education. He emphasizes adapting his teaching style to each student’s learning style and pace as he focuses on building and developing each student’s technical skills, sight reading, ear training, and repertoire. 

 

For fun, Logan enjoys competitive jiu-jitsu, choir, reading, spending time with family, and volunteering. He loves learning, teaching, and the joy that music brings to each student’s life!
