Whitney Edwards is passionate about teaching piano and focusing on her students’ interests to make learning enjoyable and effective. She likes to tailor her approach to each student’s personality and learning style to bring out their best in each lesson.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Edwards has performed in the Bolognini Competition in Las Vegas, Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, and various venues throughout Arizona, Nevada, California, and Wisconsin.
Ms. Edwards is currently studying at Concordia University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano and Music Education under Dr. Hyunjoo Choi and will graduate in 2022. Before attending Concordia, she was a piano major at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and studied under Julliard graduate, Raja Rahman. During her time there she also served as the Vice President of their piano organization and enjoyed helping others achieve their goals in their piano and music studies.
In addition to piano, Ms. Edwards also loves singing and vocal studies. She has been a member of differing choirs for 8 years, including Donne Di Canto and Cantare. She also plays the Organ and the Pipa.
